About Erik Stark

Powerboat Racing Driver

Erik began his racing career in 2000, when he was 12 years old. He raced through his career beginning in the Junior class S250 and then through the T400 , F4 -S, Thunder Cat, Offshore 3C, F2 becoming European and World Champion in each category. In 2014 he moved to the higher classes X -Cat, F1H2O and ClassOne.

In 2009, Erik was elected “Rookie of the Year” and in the next years he was nominated "Nordic Driver of the Year". In 2011 the team took home the first World Championship title in F2, and won the title for four years in a row, being F2 World Champion in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and got awarded World Champion at the UIM Gala Awarding Ceremony. In 2018 Erik finished second in the F1H2O World Championship and won the F1H2O Pole Position Trophy.

Today Erik and the team are running for the Dubai based Victory Team. In 2021 Erik achieved his first XCAT overall podium in the World Championship finishing in second position and in 2023 he finished second in the F1H2O Wold Championship.
