DISAPPOINTMENT AFTER TECHNICAL PROBLEMS IN SARDINIA

The third race of the year in boat racing's Formula 1 ended in disappointment for Erik Stark and the Victory Team. After a strong start to 2024 with a win in Vietnam and the lead in the world championship, this weekend's race in Sardinia was a big disappointment. Erik qualified 5th and finished in 4th place in the sprint race and then broke the race after three laps due to technical problems with the engine.

- I am incredibly disappointed with the outcome of this race, but it is something that can happen and it is part of the sport. It feels sad to have lost the lead in the world championship, but I have a strong and competent team behind me and now I just have to look forward, says Erik.

Erik is currently 3rd in the world championship and is getting ready for the next race in Shanghai on October 5-6.
