ERIK STARK IS FINALLY BACK RACING WITH VICTORY TEAM IN F1H2O

Updated: Feb 22

The Swedish boat racing ace Erik Stark has signed a contract with the Dubai-based Victory Team. Now the sights are set on the world championship title in Formula 1.

It is about the world's toughest and most prestigious boat racing class where Erik Stark has already proven that he can make his mark. Not least with his second place overall in the Formula 1 WC 2018. In addition, he has no less than four WC golds in Formula 2 on his merit list.

Ahead of the 2023 season, the sights are set on victory. Behind Stark is the acknowledged resourceful and seasoned Victory Team. The contract was signed in the days after three days of test drives in Dubai where Erik made a good impression.

- It feels fantastic to be able to drive for Victory Team and I know that together we have what it takes to place ourselves at the top, says Erik Stark.

After the pandemic and two spoiled seasons, Stark comes better prepared than ever.

- I am there to win every race and I am better prepared than ever both mentally and physically, he says.

The season opens with a race in Lake Toba in Indonesia on February 24-26 with practice on Friday, qualifying and the battle for pole position on Saturday and the main race on Sunday.
