Protest submitted against team Abu Dhabi boat 4 and boat 5 was accepted by the UIM Protest Jury on Wednesday 15th of December. The Jury decision was to disqualify Team Abu Dhabi boat 4 and boat 5 for having infringed fundamental provisions of the applicable Regulations such as technical rules and fair racing.
The results were updated accordingly by XCAT Sports Director Sebastiano Pellecchia as follow:

The sixth time World Champion Erik Stark achieved his first overall podium in Xcat World Championship:
“Beyond happy to celebrate this amazing result on my first XCAT season with Victory Team.
This silver medal is entirely dedicated to the team that worked so hard to achieve this result in difficult situations and I will never thank them enough for believing in me.
