ERIK STARK TAKES HOME A DOUBLE VICTORY IN THE GRAND PRIX OF VIETNAM

Erik Stark led the way in this weekend's Grand Prix of Binh Dihn in Vietnam in Formula 1 with two victories.

This year's second grand prix in the highest class of boat racing, F1H2O, took place in the beautiful town of Que Nohn in the province of Binh Dihn in Vietnam.

Erik took the pole in Friday's qualifying, won the sprint race on Saturday and raced to a sure victory in the Grand Prix on Sunday. 

- It feels amazing. I have been chasing my friend Jonas Andersson throughout 2023 and now it was finally my turn to win both pool position and first place in the race. I am really happy and grateful for my team, says a happy Erik Stark 

Erik is now first in the World Cup with 55 points, ahead of Jonas Andersson and Rusty Wyyatt who both have 47 points. 

- This year me and the Vicory Team have a great chance to take home the WC, both me and the boat feel strong and stable, we have found the form, continues Stark. 

The third race of the year runs in Olbia, Sardinia, June 14-16.
